Started in January 1998 with a mission of providing reasonably priced web development and hosting solutions for small businesses and professionals in the area of north-east Iowa, at present we have developed, maintain, and are hosting over 30 different client sites. While some are regional, others are national or international in scope.

See various recent projects!

Sales/Client Procurement:
We're particularly interested in locating imaginative, organized, and resourceful individuals in the north-east Iowa area with professional sales and/or marketing experience and who are "web savvy". While our primary client focus has been on smaller and medium sized regional companies, professionals, & organizations, the scalable web development, management, & hosting solutions we provide are robust and varied. We can provide leads, but associates are also expected to develop their own prospects and referrals.

Web programming & authoring disciplines: If you are familiar with XHTML, CSS, cgi, javascript, or database applications in a Linux environment, and are serious about web standards, cross platform interoperability, accessibility, have a good design sense but can also follow directions if needed, like to do serious hand coding, and are available for freelance or project assignments as well as minor day-to-day updates & revisions, we're interested in talking to you. But, if your approach is primarily "Windows-centric" and you are only familiar with working in Frontpage or or other WYSIWYG-type tools, we are probably not so interested (sorry...). This is an ideal situation for individuals with the requisite skills who want to work from their home office.

Domain Managers:
Domain managers are individuals who are assigned a group of client domains and are responsible for performing a number of functions and services related to accounts. This may include monitoring & evaluating a client's positioning on various web indexes (search engines) or developments related to a client's key competitors. Domain managers act as a link between the client & web staff. Sometimes they will explore opportunities or technologies for implementation in relation to existing accounts or seek out ways to maximize each client's web presence. Domain managers are expected to be familiar with HTML and cross-platform issues and should be able to provide editing, updating, and minor revision of client content. This, too, can be an ideal opportunity for someone who wishes to work from their home office.

Emails must be plain text. Sending HTML mail will immediately disqualify you from further consideration. Do not send file attachments including resumés, etc., at this point. Doing so will also result in immediate disqualification from further consideration. What we expect is a concise essay describing who you are, where you've been, what you've been doing, and where you want to go. Spelling, grammar, & correct usage are important.

If you want to work in sales/customer procurement, we would want to know what relevant experience you've had and what your goals and objectives are.

If you're a web dev/coder, we expect you to send us URLs of work you've done that are online & accessible.

If you are interested in being a domain manager, we would want you to briefly describe your concept of what this would entail and how you would pursue it, as well as your other expectations, goals, and objectives.

It is appropriate to mention degrees, certifications, and awards. However these may not necessarily count for as much as you might expect. Primarily we are interested in individuals with talent, ambition, sensibility, and potential.

We do not have time clocks. Our associates are independent, visionary & self-motivated professionals who set their own hours. Associates are compensated on a percentage basis; either on new business they develop or on projects they work on. Commissions on sales/customer procurement are residual. Web dev, design, and programming associates have the right to review projects and accept or reject as they see fit. Domain management positions are compensated on a percentage based on realized revenue. Building value, increases revenue. We do not expect or require full-time commitment, however web dev, design, and programming associates will generally be expected to complete assigned project tasks on schedule. Every effort is made to allow a reasonable timeframe for completion of project tasks and we generally will have provisions to allow for additional time, if needed, however we do not expect deadlines to be extended without extenuating circumstances or, except, as the result of a change in project/task parameters.
